But check the sharing status before you start sharing the printer. Open the Control Panel and click the option Network and Internet and then choose Network and Sharing Center to check if the Network Discovery and Printer Sharing options are enabled. Now open the Settings page and choose Devices from it and select Printers & Scanners option. Find your printer from the list, right click on Manage option. Click on the Printer Properties and select Sharing tab. You will find Change Sharing Options button, click on “Yes” to provide Administrator Permission for enabling changes. Now the screen will specify your objective to share the specified printer with your PC. The Default driver settings will be sufficient but still, the Windows allows you to append Additional Drivers. Click on OK to save the changes you made to settings and then close the screen.

A 'Print Cartridge Cradle is Stuck' or 'Stalled Carriage' Error Message Displays for HP Printer

A "Print cartridge cradle is stuck" or "stalled carriage" error message will display on the control panel of the product. The carriage assembly, which holds the ink cartridges will stall against the left side. The product may also have the issues like paper jam, the product not printing, and stops printing suddenly. The print cartridge cradle may be stuck on any one side or in the middle of the printer.

A carriage jam will arise for many reasons such as stoppage in the path of the carriage, a paper jam, or even the issues with the product software. This will make sure the edges of the paper are aligned evenly. Make sure there are at least 10 sheets of plain white paper but no more than 25 sheets of paper in the paper stack. The printer may hold more sheets of paper than this, but this number of pages for this test. Reload the paper into the paper tray pushing the paper in until you feel it stop. Find the paper guides on the paper tray. Make sure the guides rest right up against the stack of paper. Try printing again. These rollers are difficult to reach but are the most important to clean. If you miss cleaning these rollers you likely will continue having this problem because these are the rollers that feed the paper into the printer. Replace the rear door. When you finish cleaning all the rubber rollers inside the printer, Plug the printer back in and then turn the printer back on inside the printer plug back in, and then turn the printer back on. Try printing again. If your printer still won't pick up a paper, try cleaning both sets of rollers again.
