But check the sharing status before you start sharing the printer. Open the Control Panel and click the option Network and Internet and then choose Network and Sharing Center to check if the Network Discovery and Printer Sharing options are enabled. Now open the Settings page and choose Devices from it and select Printers & Scanners option. Find your printer from the list, right click on Manage option. Click on the Printer Properties and select Sharing tab. You will find Change Sharing Options button, click on “Yes” to provide Administrator Permission for enabling changes. Now the screen will specify your objective to share the specified printer with your PC. The Default driver settings will be sufficient but still, the Windows allows you to append Additional Drivers. Click on OK to save the changes you made to settings and then close the screen.
