Now Use the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) to connect your printer to your wireless network by using a manual IP address.

- Navigate the printer to update feature. Menu names and icons vary by different printer model.
- Find out an ePrint button or icon:
- Click HP ePrint icon -> press Settings or Setup and then go with Product Update -> Check Product Updates.
- Printers with text-based menus:
- Choose Setup ->Service or Settings menu.
- Now go with Preferences ->Printer Maintenance, or Tools
- Then Click On Web Services -> Printer Update, or LaserJet Update.
- Find out an ePrint button or icon:
- If you are prompted to sign up or to accept terms of service, follow any on-screen instructions to enable Web Services and setup automatic updates. This procedure sets up the printer's Internet connection so that it can receive updates.
- If your printer does not automatically start the update process, then click Check for Updates or a similar menu to start the update.
Now Use the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) to connect your printer to your wireless network by using a manual IP address.
- First Print a Network Configuration report from your Wireless ->Network Settings or Setup menu.
- Next you have to Locate the URL(s) for Embedded Web Server address under the General Information heading.
- On your computer, open an Internet browser and then type the URL in the browser address bar, make search to open the EWS. If a website security certificate displays in the Internet browser, click Continue.
- On the EWS web page, click the Network tab.
- In the Wireless section, click Wireless (802.11), and then click Manual IP.
- Manual IP Address option is available, Press it and select Apply, then reconnect your printer with your wireless network. your wireless connection continues to drop, continue troubleshooting the issue.
- Manual IP Address option is not available, continue to the next step.
On the Network Configuration Report, locate the IP Address, Sub-net Mask, and Default Gateway.
- On the EWS web-page, type your IP Address, Sub-net Mask, and Default Gateway numbers from the Network Configuration which Reporting to the matching fields, and then Select Apply.
