Step 1: Check the requirement
- Before installing the HP ePrint app, ensure the Printer and the mobile device meet the following requirement.
- An Android OS 4.0 (JellyBean) device or later, or Amazon Fire OS 4.1 - 4.x and 5.1 - 5.x device or later.
- From your mobile device, open the Wi-Fi settings and make sure you are connected to the wireless network.
- On the HP wireless printer, ensure the wireless signal is turned on and your HP Wireless Printer is connected to the same wireless network as your mobile device.
- First install the HP ePrint app on your Android or Amazon fire device. After the installation follow the on-screen prompts to allow the app access to your files, photos, social media, and cloud accounts.
- Download and install HP ePrint App on your mobile device
- Select your usage data preferences and then tap Done
- Tap Grant permission, Add Cloud Account, or Add Email Account, and then follow the on-screen prompts to allow the app access to your files, photos, social media, and cloud accounts.
Step 3: Print with the HP ePrint app
- Print documents, photos, email, and web pages from your Android or Amazon Fire device. You can also print from cloud services such as Google Drive and Dropbox.
