If you are not able to find the printer password and are tired trying all kinds of methods to retrieve it, you can perform a factory reset.
If this did not solve your issue, then try performing a cold reset. The following steps should help you.
- Follow the steps below to perform a factory reset.
- On the printer’s control panel, tap the Setup button.
- Navigate to the the main menu, and tap Service.
- Touch Restore Defaults button, and select the OK button.
- Wait until the device restarts automatically.
If this did not solve your issue, then try performing a cold reset. The following steps should help you.
- Remove the cartridges from the Laserjet printer.
- Detach the power cable’s one end from the printer’s rear with the power supply running.
- Also, remove the other end of the cable from the wall outlet too.
- Wait for at least 3 minutes, and then press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.
- Connect the power cable back into the outlet, and the printer’s rear.
- Turn On the printer, and check if it works properly.
