If you are not able to find the printer password and are tired trying all kinds of methods to retrieve it, you can perform a factory reset.

1. Follow the steps below to perform a factory reset.
2. On the printer’s control panel, tap the Setup button. 
3. Navigate to the the main menu, and tap Service.
4. Touch Restore Defaults button, and select the OK button. 
5. Wait until the device restarts automatically. 

If this did not solve your issue, then try performing a cold reset.  The following steps should help you.

1.    Remove the cartridges from the Laserjet printer. 
2.    Detach the power cable’s one end from the printer’s rear with the power supply running.
