If the OfficeJet 3830 is not printing applications on your laptop, then do the below-given steps.
- Download the HP print and scan doctor to check the connectivity.
- Run the HPPS.exe file.
- Click on start to select your printer.
- If your printer is not there in the list, Switch it off and on, and then press Retry.
- If there is a connection problem, do the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- If a screen displays prompting to switch on the printer updates, click Yes and continue. If a screen displays prompting to make your printer the default printer, press Yes and continue. Try to reset the printer environment.
- Turn off the printer.
- Wait for 10 seconds and turn ON the printer.
- Try to print. Select the default printer.
- Search Windows for devices, and then press Devices and Printers from the list of results.
- Right-click the name of the HP printer that is active, and then choose Set as Default Printer.
- The print jobs may be stuck in the queue. If there are many jobs there in the queue, then certain issues may arise.
- Check if there is any paper jam issue. The curled paper may be stuck which may cause an issue.
- Check the connectivity. The drivers may be a reason for the issue.
- Un-install, the driver which you are using currently. Re-install the updated driver.
- This may solve the problem. The latest versions of drivers are available on our website.
