HP Laserjet 2420 Unboxing Setup

1. Remove the HP Laserjet 2420 printer from the shipment box and position the printer in a clean and flat surface.
2. Now, remove and discard the packing materials from the printer and open the scanner assembly.
3. Discard the protective foam in the printer’s toner cartridge access area.
4. Take hold of the toner cartridge and lay aside in a secure place for some time.
5. Proceed to remove the packaging inside the 123.hp.com/lj2420 printer. Later, grasp both sides of the toner cartridge and gently give a shake to scatter the toner powder.
6. Clear off the orange clip from the toner cartridge and peel off the orange sealing tape from the toner cartridge.
7. Install the toner cartridge in the cartridge tracks inside the printer and then push the cartridge until it is firmly settled.
8. Close the top scanner lid and attach the input tray to the printer.
9. Slide paper width guides to the outermost position and load a stack of A4 size paper. Push the guides until they rest against the paper.
10. Connect one terminal of the power cord to the rear of the printer and attach the other terminal into an electrical socket.
11. Press the Power button and turn on the HP Laserjet 2420 printer.
