How to Install HP Envy 5540 Printer

• After purchasing the HP ENVY 5540 printer, ensure the printer box is sealed properly.
• Unseal the printer box and check if the printer components are provided in it.
• Take the printer from the box and place it on a flat surface.
• Remove the packing materials from the HP Envy printer and peel off the protective tapes on it.
• Plug the power cable to the respective port of the HP Envy 5540 printer and power supply.
• Power up the printer by force pressing its power button.
• Configure the system preferences on the control panel of the printer.
• Load papers into the input tray of the HP Envy 5540 printer.
• Open the access door located at the top.
• Unpack the ink cartridges enclosed in the printer package.
• Remove the protective tapes on the cartridges.
• Insert the cartridges into the respective slots.
• Close the access doors.
• Print an alignment sheet and arrange the cartridges.
• Install the HP printer driver on your computer and complete the first time printer HP Envy 5540 Setup.
