Remove the HP Officejet Pro 8610 Printer from its package
- Take off the packing materials from the printer box.
- Remove the printer and its components from the box.
- Prefer a flat surface to place the HP Officejet Pro 8610 setup.
- Peel off the tapes and remove the packing components from the printer.
Fix the Duplexer (Two-Sided Printing Accessory)
- Take the duplexer provided in the printer box and unpack it.
- Peel off the packing tapes from the duplexer.
- Make sure that the rear side of the printer is facing you.
- Hold the duplexer with its rollers facing you.
- Use the sides of the duplexer to hold it.
- Keep the duplexer into the printer and gently press it.
- Make sure that the duplexer fits into the place.
Setup the Power Connection of the HP Officejet Pro 8610 Printer
- Attach one end of the power cord to the power port of the Officejet Pro 8610 printer and the other end to any electrical outlet directly.
- Use the ON key to turn on the printer.
- Set the settings like the country and language on the control panel of the printer
Load the Tray 1 of the HP Printer
- Pull the tray of the printer to its maximum limit.
- Move the paper width guides to its outermost position.
- Take a bunch of sheets, fan and tap them on an even surface.
- Insert the sheets in the tray with their print side facing down.
- Do not forget to fix the sheets by adjusting the guides.
- Pull the output tray extender and open the paper catch.
- You can load the Tray 2 if needed.
Insert the Ink Cartridges
- Open the access cover of the HP Officejet Pro 8610 setup ink cartridge.
- Wait until the printer becomes idle and settles.
- Take the new ink cartridge provided in the printer carton and remove it from the package.
- Hold the cartridge with its nozzle facing the printer and insert it into its slot.
- Insert all the remaining cartridges in the same way as explained in the previous steps.
Setup the Software of the HP Officejet Pro 8610 Printer
Launch the software of the HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer.
